SCIENTIFIC PAPERS
RULES FOR PRESENTATION OF PAPERS

1. The scientific papers should be submitted only through the restricted area of the participant


2. The approved works will be presented as video poster, free videos or free themes

3. The best free videos will be selected, among those submitted until June 27, 2014, for presentation at the main plenary of the specialty during the regular sessions of the scientific program. The other free videos will be presented in a specific room for this purpose. At the discretion of the Scientific Committee the free videos may be included as video posters or free themes.

4. Deadline for submission of papers (not extendable) by June 27, 2014

5. It is essential to send the power point/film according to the settings below for all kind of presentation. Summaries sent without their files will be automatically declassified.

5.1 - Video poster format:
    Power point settings:
    - slides presentation: automatic mode
    - maximum duration: 7 minutes ("loop" mode)
    - maximum file size: 100 MB
    - slide orientation: portrait. Size: 4:3

    As suggestion the paper should be from 8 to 12 slides and contain:
    - Authors’ complete names and institution affiliations: 1 slide
    - Presentation + Introduction + Objective: 1 to 3 slides
    - Methods: 2 to 3 slides
    - Results: 3 to 4 slides
    - Discussion: 1 to 2 slides
    - Conclusion: 1 slide

5.2 - Free Video format:
    Video settings:
        - maximum duration: 7 minutes
        - maximum file size: 700 MB
        - recommended proportions:
               4 x 3 – 480 x 360 resolution
               16 x 9 – resolution 640 x 360
        - formats: mp4 or wmv or mpg or mpeg or avi or flv

5.3 - Free theme format:
    Power point settings:
    - slide orientation: landscape
    - maximum duration: 7 minutes
    - maximum file size: 700 MB

6. The PRESENTER of the paper should be entered in the event and paid the registration fee prior to the deadline for submitting the paper. Otherwise the system will not allow submission of the article. Note that payments made via bank bills, deposits or bank transfers will only be confirmed 2 business days after the payment date.

7. There is no limit on summaries by author, but it will not be accepted more than a summary based on the same research project.

8. The limit of authors for each paper: one author (who will be the presenter of the paper) and up to six co-authors.

9. The author might declare his/her option (free theme, free video or poster). The Scientific Committee will meet the author's option whenever possible.

10. After the paper submission, the author will receive the confirmation through the e-mail registered at the inscription. This confirmation message is the guarantee that the paper was sent correctly. If you do not receive the email with the submission confirmation, you should immediately contact the executive secretariat of the event.

11. The status of acceptance of papers will be available at the restrict area (Secretary on line) of the author who have submitted the papers.

12. Sending the work represents a definitive commitment of the author (s) to present the work, if accepted, during the Congress and allow its display (video) on the SOBRACIL website.

13. Doubts will be settled by the Event Organizing Committee.

CERTIFICATES
Only one certificate will be issued only for each paper accepted and presented. It shall contain the names of the author and all co-authors.
