What sets São Paulo

Beautiful, rich, intellectual, democratic, alive, sportive, cultural, sentimental, romantic, modern, serious, outgoing, professional. After all, what sets São Paulo? There is absolutely no adjective that can decipher exactly what one of the megacities of the world represents.

Meticulously designed by several nationalities, cultures, beliefs and ideals, the great bandeirante metropolis is truly cosmopolitan, by vocation and adoption. It is Italian, German, Jewish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, French, African, Arabic, Spanish, Latin, Brazilian, from São Paulo. These and many other faces are present in the architecture of the buildings, in the streets, in the refined tastes of culinary delights and in costumes and mannerisms of a people who never stops, day-by-day writing valiantly the history of the city.

We can describe the Paulistan greatness in many ways: noting that the city harbors the largest hotel complex in the Latin America, the most complete Hospital Center in the country and that it focuses on its territory the largest Brazilian cultural pole. It is still one of the international capitals of gastronomy, fixed destination for major events, fairs and exhibitions worldwide recognized, seat of academic centers and leading research, among many other references.

São Paulo capital is one of the few places able to merge harmoniously modernity and history. It has played host to events that involve since the banks of Ipiranga River, going through political and cultural revolutions as well as protests in favor of democracy. It houses hundreds of cinemas, museums, theaters, historical and cultural heritage areas, parks, shows, theme parks, restaurants, bars, hotels, venues for events, fairs, shopping malls and shopping streets.
